Rural Agriculture

70% of the world’s poor live in rural areas, relying on farming for food and income. VisionFund is helping rural communities outside the reach of traditional financial services access the products they need for sustainable livelihoods. We're facilitating small-scale credit, insurance and savings products for vulnerable rural households.

Agrifinance and Crop and Livestock Insurance

Our innovative combined credit and insurance product helps farmers prepare for risks to their livelihoods, whilst remaining protected if emergency strikes. Insurance coverage enhances a farmer’s resilience to climate shocks. Credit helps them to prepare for a more resilient crop, and support their children's futures.
