As Chief Impact Officer Ms. Schuler works to create an impact-driven culture at World Vision US and across the globe, strengthening both public and private fundraising efforts and amplifying the transformative power of World Vision’s work. She provides overall leadership to World Vision's office in Washington, DC, managing a team of professionals that support public and private resource acquisition and management of projects, as well as advocating on behalf of vulnerable children and families.
Ms. Schuler has over 25 years of diverse experience in the field of international relief and development, holding senior level management and technical positions both at U.S. headquarters and field levels with organizations such as IRC, CARE, Save the Children and World Vision.
She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Washington State University and a Master’s Degree in International Affairs from Ohio University. She began her career in international development as a Peace Corps Volunteer in rural Tanzania.
Ms. Schuler is driven by a passion for improving the lives of the most vulnerable women and children around the world and creating greater equity for marginalized groups.
