We are pleased to announce, as part of the next phase of growth and expansion for VisionFund Ukraine, that Small Enterprise Assistance Funds (SEAF), will be providing significant new capital to increase VF Ukraine’s impact on the SME sector in Ukraine. VisionFund International as the founder will increase its financial commitment and will retain a minority share as SEAF provides additional investment to continue to scale the operation.

VisionFund Ukraine’s CEO, Wesley Jordan, said: ‘We are delighted by this new foreign investment in Ukraine to finance and empower small businesses. We look forward to working with an impact investor like SEAF to grow our operations and support economic recovery. This is a good example of blended financing where philanthropic capital can unlock private equity to scale impact.’

Paul Sheehan, Chief Executive of SEAF commented: ‘We focus on providing growth capital, capacity building and operational support to small and medium enterprises and we are excited to begin a new phase of operation with VisionFund Ukraine to leverage the investment made and expand the much needed work that has started to support SMEs at this time.’
