Peter Trent

Director, Investible Holdings Pty Limited

Peter has 36 years in commercial and investment banking and the global infrastructure sector. Prior to retiring from Macquarie Group Limited in November 2018, Peter had been the Chief Executive Officer of the publicly listed Macquarie Atlas Roads (MQA), a position he had held between 2009-2018.

During his tenure as CEO, Peter oversaw the transformation of MQA from an overleveraged and complex infrastructure entity with a market capitalisation of A$278 million to a top 100 ASX-listed company with a market capitalisation of over A$3.7 billion. Over this period, Peter’s focus was to deliver value to securityholders through a commitment to disciplined capital management, operational efficiencies and growing asset cash flows. Peter’s approach of transparency and effective business strategy brought him considerable acclaim from investors. In October 2017, he was ranked by Switzer Daily as one of the top 5 ASX CEOs.

Today, Peter is a Director of Investible Holdings Pty Limited, an Australian early-stage venture capital funds management group. He is also Treasurer of the Anglican Parish of Church Hill, Sydney, Australia and a member of the Parish Council.

Peter is also Board Chair of World Vision Australia and has been a member of the Board since 2020.
